Curried Chicken and Rice Soup

1 onion
3 14 oz cans chicken broth
1 can diced tomatoes with juice
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1/2 C brown rice
1 1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp thyme

Put all ingredients into a crockpot, cover and cook for 6 hours.
