Broccoli Cheese Soup

1 bunch of broccoli (Or 4 C frozen broccoli)
1 onion, chopped
2 Cups Chicken Broth
1 cube of butter
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups milk
3/4 tsp salt
2 cups of cheddar cheese

In a pot on the stove, boil broccoli and onion in the chicken broth until tender.  In a separate pan on the stove melt the butter with the flour on medium heat.  Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened and smooth.  Add the cheese to the "white sauce."  Add the salt to the soup pot, and pour the sauce in as well.  Stir together and heat through.
